Hino Motors filed a recall notice with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on September 30 for its heavy-duty truck, the "Profia."

The affected vehicles are 1132 units manufactured between January 18, 2019 and October 8, 2024, and 14 units that were shipped as replacement or repair parts and into which vehicles could be identified.

Some fuel system (injector) components have insufficient strength, which can lead to cracks and, in the worst case, a fire. Three fires have occurred so far.
