Nomura Real Estate announced on October 1st that it will construct a multi-tenant logistics facility tentatively named "Landport Kokura" in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, with a total floor area of 46,694 square meters. Completion is scheduled for September 2027.
"(Provisional name) Landport Kokura" will be constructed at 4000-2, Sone Mitsuzuka, Kokura Minami-ku, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, with a site area of 34,783 m2.
The building will be a two-story, box-shaped steel-frame structure with a planned total floor area of 46,694 m2, and will be a multi-tenant facility that can be divided into three sections for leasing.
By designating the vehicle traffic flow within the site as one-way, safety for loading and unloading vehicles is taken into consideration, and a waiting area for container trucks is also secured.
Due to its location with excellent access by land, sea, and air, a wide variety of vehicles and cargo are expected to be handled, so a hybrid double-sided berth with both low and high floors will be installed to enable efficient operations.

A cafeteria for workers is planned, which can be used for meals and breaks.
Located approximately 2.8 km from the Kokura-Higashi Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway and the Nagano Interchange on the Kitakyushu Urban Expressway, it is about 15 minutes from Kitakyushu Airport, about 20 minutes from Shinmoji Port, and about 30 minutes from Tachiura Container Terminal, enabling wide-area delivery to all of Kyushu and western Chugoku region.
It's about 1.1 km from Shimosone Station on the JR Nippo Main Line, making it possible to commute on foot.
Prior to construction, a location agreement was signed with Kitakyushu City on September 30th.

The construction of "(tentative name) Landport Kokura" aligns with Kitakyushu City's "Logistics Hub Concept," and by collaborating on the concentration of logistics facilities based on the location agreement, it will contribute to solving challenges in the logistics industry through "improving logistics efficiency by reducing waiting times for cargo" and "creating local employment and revitalizing the economy."
