On October 1st, Kracie Pharmaceuticals established its first logistics base in the Kyushu area in Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture, to strengthen its stable supply system for herbal medicines, and has begun operations in stages.
<Kracie Pharmaceuticals Kyushu Distribution Center, Kracie Kyushu Distribution Center>
Previously, the company had its main distribution centers in Saitama and Osaka prefectures, and products for the Kyushu area (including Yamaguchi prefecture) were delivered from the Kansai Distribution Center (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture). Therefore, to address the logistical challenges associated with long-distance deliveries between Kansai and Kyushu, they have now established a new Kyushu Distribution Center.
By shortening the delivery distance from the distribution center to each sales outlet in the target area, this system addresses issues such as driver shortages associated with long-distance deliveries. For example, deliveries to sales outlets in Kagoshima Prefecture, which previously required approximately 900 km, can now be reduced to within 300 km.
By increasing the number of logistics bases, we aim to create a system that can diversify risks in the event of a large-scale natural disaster, thereby building a disaster-resilient and stable supply chain.
Furthermore, by increasing inventory storage space, they will establish a system that can flexibly respond to fluctuations in logistics volume. In addition, they plan to improve delivery efficiency and reduce environmental impact by collaborating with other direct-selling manufacturers on deliveries.
