Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) announced on October 1st that a new logistics facility development project has begun in Murata-cho, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture.
The plan involves constructing a two-story dry goods warehouse and a single-story hazardous materials warehouse, with a total floor area of approximately 21,254 square meters. Completion is scheduled for February 2028.

The site is located approximately 8.5 km from the Tosu Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway and the Higashi-Seburi Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway, both of which are major transportation hubs in Kyushu.
Furthermore, its location along National Route 34, a major arterial road, allows for wide-area transportation to various parts of Kyushu via the Tosu Junction, making it a promising location for demand as a regional logistics hub.
JR Kyushu is committed to further expanding its logistics real estate business through aggressive investment.
