Nippon Pallet Rental (JPR) announced on October 1st that it has upgraded its joint transportation matching service, "TranOpt".
We've added a new feature that allows users to search for potential matches without disclosing their own route information to other users. Additionally, we've added a function that allows for route setting based on relay transport, and a feature that allows transport companies to directly propose quotes to companies considering joint transport.
"TranOpt" is a service that enables collaborative transportation by creating a database of transportation routes from numerous companies and matching them using AI. It proposes routes to user companies, such as round trips between two locations, routes connecting three locations, and routes for consolidated shipments. In addition to route information, practical conditions can be registered, so the service matches partners that are a better fit to the user's needs.
<Searching for candidates without disclosing our own internal channels>

The new feature allows users to investigate potential match candidates while keeping their own route information private.
Normally, company names are kept confidential, but their own route information is disclosed to other users. There was a need for solutions such as "company rules prevent us from registering route information in external systems" and "we are worried that our company name might be inferred from location information even if we remain anonymous."
Furthermore, the new feature allows users to search for "relay points" along their desired route. This enables collaborative transportation that incorporates relay transport by multiple drivers.
<Direct proposal of fare estimate>

Furthermore, a "Propose Estimate" button has been added to the screen that displays a list of routes registered in "TranOpt." This allows users to directly submit fare estimate proposals.
JPR is committed to supporting the realization of joint transportation by providing not only a matching system but also consulting and support services. They also assist with preparatory steps such as "organizing your company's data" and "coordinating with partner companies."
