SG Moving and Linnet Japan Recycle, which operates a small appliance recycling business, announced on October 6th that they have signed "agreements on cooperation and collaboration" with five new municipalities nationwide as of September 30th, 2025, bringing the total number of collaborating municipalities to 182 (approximately 1242 million people).

Many residents have complained that the disposal process for home appliances is complicated and confusing, involving tasks such as setting collection dates, researching recycling fees, and purchasing recycling tickets in advance. Furthermore, some residents are struggling to find a way to dispose of their appliances because there is no service to have them removed from their homes by specialized companies.

The company states that by using its services, these problems will be solved, and residents will be able to access more convenient and easy-to-understand recycling collection procedures, thereby contributing to improved convenience.
