On October 8, Yusen Logistics announced that its overseas group companies, "TASCO Yusen Gold Cold" (TYGC) and "Yusen Logistics (Vietnam)" (YLVN), have obtained ISO 31512 certification for food temperature storage and transportation services.

TYGC, a subsidiary of Malaysian company TASCO BERHAD, became the first logistics company in the world to obtain the Japanese-style cold chain logistics service standard "JSA-S1004:2020" in 2022.

Anticipating strong growth in demand for frozen and chilled foods and livestock products in Vietnam, YLVN opened a dedicated frozen and chilled warehouse for food products in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City in January 2025, and has begun providing international-standard cold chain logistics services to its food sector customers operating in Vietnam.
