On October 8, Logpose Technologies announced that it had collaborated with Logisteed to conduct a "Cross-Location Centralized Dispatch PoC (Proof of Concept)" that integrates and manages dispatch information from multiple locations, yielding new results toward the overall optimization of the logistics network.
This Proof of Concept (PoC) focused on simulations centered on strengthening sales by clearly identifying "which branch should handle which project," "branch collaboration through the sharing of available resources," and "optimization of vehicle allocation through centralized dispatching." Along with gaining confidence in practical implementation, a medium- to long-term vision anticipating future industry transformations was shared.
The Japanese logistics industry currently faces a structural challenge where operations optimized for each individual location hinder cross-functional collaboration. Because sales KPIs and data update timings are fragmented at each location, order acceptance and dispatch decisions are optimized individually, preventing the maximization of overall network efficiency.
To address this challenge, Logpose Technologies collaborated with Logisteed to plan a Proof of Concept (PoC) to centrally visualize and analyze dispatch performance data from multiple locations of its group company, Logisteed East Japan. The feasibility of achieving overall optimization through centralized dispatching was simulated in a virtual environment.
In the Proof of Concept (PoC), analysis was conducted using Logpose's AI-powered automated dispatch algorithm and dashboard with the aim of strengthening sales, improving inter-office coordination, and centralizing vehicle dispatch. As a result, a new possibility was discovered: the visualization of available resources and their reflection in sales strategies, which earned high praise from Logisteed. It also attracted attention as an example of "sales reform through the effective use of transportation data."
Moving forward, based on the results obtained from this Proof of Concept (PoC), the Logisteed Group plans to proceed with considerations for actual implementation, including clarifying the selection criteria for the locations to be targeted for use.
