The project is being undertaken by Kokuyo Supply Logistics, which handles the logistics functions of the Kokuyo Group, with the aim of solving challenges in the logistics industry and contributing to the development of the next generation of talent. It has been conducted annually with Chiba University of Commerce since 2021, with the theme changing each year.

At the kickoff event, students visited the East Japan Logistics Center of the office supplies e-commerce company "Kaunet." Through interviews with on-site staff and hands-on picking experiences, the students gained a firsthand understanding of the logistics field and envisioned the current state and future of the industry.

Going forward, the students will focus on developing solutions to the challenge of "utilizing underutilized time, space, and personnel," targeting workers involved in logistics, such as warehouse staff, office workers, and drivers. They plan to present their ideas at a final presentation held at the Kokuyo Shinagawa office in December.

This project is also being implemented with Kinki University (Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), Nagoya Gakuin University (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), and Kurume University (Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture).
