On October 10, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism approved four grants for the "Demonstration Project Subsidy for the Social Implementation of Trunk Line Transportation by Autonomous Driving Trucks" for fiscal year 2025.
From May to August, a call for proposals was made for demonstration projects aimed at the social implementation of autonomous truck trunk line transportation by logistics companies and private companies engaged in technology development, and four projects were selected.
