The domestic shipping industry is a vital transportation infrastructure that supports people's lives and economic activities. However, it faces various challenges, such as labor shortages due to population decline and a fragile business foundation, and a transformation into a strong domestic shipping industry (NX) is necessary to address these issues.

Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established a new "NX Subsidy" (Subsidy for Technology Development to Promote Transformation in Domestic Shipping) in fiscal year 2024.

From June 23 to July 25, 2025, we solicited applications for new subsidy projects for fiscal year 2025. After reviewing the project details by external experts, we have now selected three new subsidy projects.
