"DPL Kazo" is a five-story building with a site area of 51,095.57 m2 and a total floor area of 121,135.75 m2, capable of accommodating up to 10 tenant companies (each unit approximately 6000 m2 or larger). It includes an attached hazardous materials warehouse (total floor area 649 m2) on the premises, which is designed to safely store Class 4 (flammable liquids) such as petroleum, alcohol, and animal and vegetable oils. The warehouse is designed to safely store up to 960 times the designated quantity of hazardous materials, offering high flexibility to accommodate a variety of industries.

The building features double rampways providing direct access to each floor and approximately 40 truck berths per floor, reducing truck congestion and collision risks. This enables efficient logistics operations, and the ability to install offices on each floor allows the building to meet the diverse needs of tenant companies.

"DPL Kazo" is located approximately 50km in a straight line from the city center and about 3.7km from the Kazo Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. From the Kuki-Shiraoka Junction, which is about 10 minutes from the Kazo Interchange, it takes about 60 minutes by car to reach the city center via the Ken-O Expressway. This makes it a core hub in the wide-area logistics network and a transit point that enables efficient distribution to central Tokyo and the Tohoku region.

The facility includes a childcare center exclusively for employees of tenant companies, creating an environment that supports work-life balance. In addition, a 138-seat lounge (approximately 270 m2) is located on the first floor, providing a place for employees to relax freely. Furthermore, a rest room for truck drivers is located near the truck waiting area on the premises, among other measures to enhance the working environment.

By providing parking for 285 regular passenger cars and 107 bicycles, anticipating commutes by car, we aim to create a comfortable commuting environment for employees of tenant companies.

In terms of environmental considerations, the design incorporates features that minimize environmental impact, such as the installation of a solar power generation system and the aim to achieve a 5-star rating under the Building Energy Efficiency Labeling System (BELS) and meet standards of Nearly ZEB or higher.
