On October 16, Exotec Nihon announced that "Exotec," which celebrated its 10th anniversary, will surpass $1 billion (approximately 150 billion yen) in cumulative sales in 2024, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the warehouse automation field.
Exotec's flagship product, the Skypod system, is currently in operation at over 200 customer locations, and more than 10,000 robots have been delivered worldwide. Over the past decade, Exotec has expanded its end-to-end automation product portfolio, including Skypath conveyors and Deepsky warehouse management software, to solve its customers' complex logistics challenges.
Developed by co-founders Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, the Skypod system has earned high praise for its ease of implementation and scalability. Addressing the challenges of traditional automation systems, such as high initial investment and lack of flexibility, they developed a modular AS/RS (Warehouse Automation Solution). It can be implemented at the required scale and easily scaled as handling volume increases, while seamlessly integrating everything from receiving to storage and shipping. This achieves both efficiency and cost-effectiveness, earning the trust of global brands such as Gap, Uniqlo, and Carrefour.
<Specific figures for the transformed operations>

Over the past decade, Exotec's technology has dramatically transformed warehouse operations. It has had a significant impact on global warehouse operations, including "manufacturing and deploying over 10,000 robots," "completing over 938 million cycles (processing up to four orders in under two minutes)," and "reducing warehouse worker walking distance by 90 million kilometers."
These efficiencies significantly reduce the physical burden on warehouse workers while achieving industry-leading processing capacity and order accuracy. As a result, it leads to faster delivery, reduced picking errors, and enhanced ability to respond to ever-changing consumer needs.
Romain Moulin, co-founder and CEO of Exotec, commented, "Ten years ago, Renault Heitz (co-founder) and I stood up to solve the inefficiencies in warehouses. Today's milestone is a testament to our growth and the trust we have earned from our customers. Our role will evolve in the next decade. Customers are looking for seamlessly integrated solutions, not just partially optimized products. As a trusted partner, we will provide automated systems that achieve holistic optimization."
