1016ikea1 - IKEA opens two new large-scale product pickup centers in Saitama Prefecture, bringing the total number of locations nationwide to 59.

Also on the 23rd of the same month, Sagawa Express expanded its center pickup service (for small item deliveries only) to a total of 67 Sagawa Express sales offices in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Yamanashi prefectures.

With the opening of this new location, IKEA now has 59 locations for large items and 537 locations for small items, bringing its total number of pick-up locations nationwide to 596.

IKEA is expanding its "Center Pickup" service nationwide in cooperation with its business partners.

The service works as follows: IKEA delivers the products to a nearby pickup center or Sagawa Express branch, and customers are responsible for transporting them from the pickup location to their homes.

By keeping delivery costs down and offering flexible delivery options, we are working to improve last-mile delivery and reduce our environmental impact.
