Robot Bank announced on October 16th that it is developing a towing function for its flagship AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) series. The company aims to begin service provision in January 2026.
By simply attaching a basic attachment to carts, shelving carts, or 6-wheel carts, it becomes possible to automate these processes in conjunction with AMRs without requiring large-scale capital investment.
AMRs can replace the manual transport of heavy loads on carts, a task that previously relied on human labor. By combining them with conventional under-cabinet AMRs, the range of transport tasks that can be handled at a single site can be expanded.
Development began in response to numerous requests from customers who wanted to automate the movement of their current trolleys without having to replace them, and who wanted to be freed from the simple task of pushing and pulling the trolleys. The product name, detailed specifications, and price will be announced as soon as they are ready.
