Kintetsu Express announced that its Benelux subsidiary, Kintetsu World Express (Benelux) (KWE Benelux), began bonded warehouse operations at a warehouse south of Schiphol International Airport in the Netherlands on October 8th.

The warehouse began operations on April 1, 2025, in the cargo area south of the airport. Operations have been progressing in stages, and with the commencement of bonded warehouse operations, the warehouse will now be fully operational.
This full-scale operation will strengthen the strategic base that will serve as a hub in Europe, and will also be part of the growth strategy to "provide diverse logistics solutions."
The warehouse is located in close proximity to the main airport warehouses at Schiphol International Airport, offering excellent access and significantly improving the efficiency of air cargo handling.
Furthermore, by internalizing CFS operations that were previously outsourced, the company will be able to assemble and disassemble ULDs (Unit Load Devices) in-house, aiming for improved operational quality and flexibility, as well as shorter lead times.
Kintetsu Express is also focusing on high-value-added fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and fresh produce. By utilizing temperature-controlled warehouses located approximately 15km from Schiphol, they ensure high quality, and by planning to obtain the industry's highest level of security standard, "TAPA-A certification," they guarantee security and are creating an environment that is easy for customers to use.
