On October 21, Logitec, a member of the Camcom Group, announced that it had invited 13 member companies of the Chiba Cosmetics Industry Association to its Minami-Funabashi warehouse (Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture), which holds a cosmetics manufacturing license, for a "logistics warehouse tour" in September.

The Chiba Prefecture Cosmetics Industry Association is an organization comprised of cosmetics-related companies within the prefecture. Every year, it holds factory tours for its members, and until now, these tours have focused on the manufacturing facilities of cosmetics manufacturers.
With growing interest in logistics operations within the cosmetics industry, Logitec is now welcoming visitors to its logistics warehouse for the first time.
The Minami-Funabashi warehouse is located on the 8th floor of "MFLP Funabashi I" and features a temperature control system with air conditioning throughout the building, a system to prevent shipping errors, a convenient location, and a comfortable working environment.
During the tour, Logitec explained the basics of what a logistics warehouse is, from receiving to shipping goods. They also introduced the distribution and processing of products requiring permits, such as cosmetics, as well as the facility environment, including the lounge.
For the participants, it was their first visit to a large-scale logistics facility, and they realized how logistics supports product quality assurance and stable supply.
