NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced on October 22 that its group company, NX Taiwan International Logistics, has opened the "Taoyuan NEXT8 Warehouse" in Taoyuan City, northern Taiwan.

Taoyuan City is home to Taoyuan International Airport, which serves as Taiwan's air transport gateway, and offers good access to the metropolitan area, as well as to Taipei Port and Keelung Port.
In recent years, demand for logistics, primarily for automotive parts and consumer goods, has continued to expand in northern Taiwan. Therefore, we have decided to construct our sixth warehouse in the Taoyuan area.
We will consolidate multiple buffer warehouses, which were previously used during peak seasons, into a new location to reduce the need for inter-depot transport and improve service quality.

The warehouse is a three-story building with an area of 13,060 square meters. It combines automated equipment such as automated warehouses and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) with human operation to handle everything from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and delivery.
Furthermore, the elevated platform and three dock levelers accommodate various modes of transport, including shipping containers. Elevators, auto-lasers, heavy-duty racks, 24/7 manned security, and surveillance cameras ensure safe and efficient operation.
