AI Data Inc., a company that utilizes corporate data and AI, announced on October 22 that it has been selected for the "Sustainable Logistics Efficiency Demonstration Project Subsidy (Collaborative Demonstration Project Contributing to Logistics Efficiency)" implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and has commenced its demonstration project.

In this demonstration project, YAMATE, a logistics company, will form a consortium with one other shipper company to conduct a demonstration of logistics efficiency improvements through the integrated use of AI and WMS (Warehouse Management System) from July 1, 2025 to February 13, 2026.
The initiative involves using "AI Kongming on IDX," an AI-powered business support solution provided by AI Data, to build and improve an AI-enabled logistics data platform and optimize the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
This demonstration project aims to improve logistics efficiency by achieving results such as "streamlining logistics operations," "improving operational quality," "optimizing costs," and "enhancing customer satisfaction."
Furthermore, the logistics efficiency model developed through the demonstration project is expected to have ripple effects across the entire logistics industry, such as establishing efficiency solutions that can be introduced to small and medium-sized logistics businesses, and building a sustainable logistics system through collaboration between shippers and logistics operators. It is also conceivable that this could be applied to other industries, such as improving disaster response capabilities through strengthening logistics infrastructure.
