Brother Industries announced on October 23 that its logistics subsidiary, Brother Logitec, has received "Platinum Kurumin Certification" as an excellent company supporting childcare under the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation. This is the first time a company in the Brother Group has received Platinum Kurumin Certification.
<Platinum Kurumin Certification Acquired>

The Platinum Kurumin certification is a system in which the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare certifies companies that have received the "Kurumin certification" as a company that supports childcare based on the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation, and that are promoting the introduction and use of systems that support employees in balancing work and childcare at an even higher level.
Brother Logitec has been working to create a workplace where all employees can work with peace of mind and demonstrate their abilities, and has been promoting activities to support work-life balance, such as conducting support interviews tailored to life events for all employees. Since fiscal year 2020, the company has maintained a 100% childcare leave utilization rate for both men and women, and by meeting the certain standards set by the system, it obtained Kurumin certification in 2023.
Since then, the company has continued to provide support for employees raising children, and has now achieved the even higher "Platinum Kurumin" certification.
In addition to Brother Logitec, Brother Industries (2011), Brother Sales (2014, 2016, 2019), and XING (2014) within the Brother Group have previously received Kurumin certification, but Brother Logitec is the first to obtain Platinum Kurumin certification.
