NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced on October 24 that its group company, NX India, has constructed a new school building for a primary school in Gujarat state.
The new school building was donated to Gokarpura Primary School in Gokarpura village, Ahmedabad district, and a donation and handover ceremony was held on August 8th.

Gokalpura Primary School was established in 1957 and currently has 394 students enrolled from first to eighth grade. The existing school building lacked sufficient classrooms, and some classes were held outdoors.
The new school building is two stories high and has four classrooms. Local education authorities anticipate an increase of approximately 30-35% (about 80 students) in the next academic year, and this donation will allow the school to accommodate more students as the building becomes larger.
NX India has a long history of CSR activities aimed at improving educational environments in India, including the development of government school facilities and the construction of classrooms. This donation of a new school building is expected to provide children in rural areas with a comfortable learning environment, thereby improving educational standards and contributing to long-term regional development.
