Nexa Ware, a joint venture between Tsubakimoto Chain and KDDI, began offering its data analysis service for logistics warehouses, "Nexa Warehouse-Optimizer," on October 27th, with two monthly subscription plans: "Entry Plan" and "Premium Plan."
By offering a flexible plan structure that can be selected according to the purpose of use and analysis period, customers can choose the optimal plan tailored to their needs.
The new plan includes enhanced "shift simulation" and "budget-to-actual management" functions. In addition to reducing the initial burden during implementation, it supports the prediction of the minimum number of personnel required based on the volume of shipping work, and the reallocation of workers in the event of sudden staff shortages or work delays.
The update to "Shift Simulation" states that it "allows setting work processes and creating shifts according to the customer's warehouse operations," "allows for shift adjustments that are more suitable for actual operation by taking into account working hours that vary depending on employment type," and "reduces input effort and improves reusability by utilizing parameter sheets."
<Budget and Actuals Management>

The update to the "Budget and Actuals Management" function includes "enhanced filter item settings, allowing display content to be customized according to customer requests" and "addition of a function to check past performance progress, contributing to daily review and improvement activities."
This will reduce the burden on on-site managers, facilitate rapid decision-making, reduce worker working hours, and prevent shipping delays, contributing to continuous improvement of logistics warehouse operations and cost optimization.
Furthermore, this service will be provided through a cloud environment that enables low-cost and stable operation, based on a strategic partnership between KDDI and Amazon Web Services Japan (AWS).
Going forward, the company will expand its analysis and optimization functions in conjunction with automated equipment within logistics warehouses, continuously supporting on-site operational improvements through the visualization of equipment operating status and work efficiency. The goal is to contribute to the business growth of its customers by promoting increased operational productivity and optimization of operating costs.
