In March 2024, the government added the "automobile transport industry" sector to the list of eligible fields under the Specified Skills Visa program to address the worsening shortage of drivers.
Furthermore, the environment surrounding foreign drivers is changing significantly, with measures such as the tightening of the "foreign driver's license conversion" process starting in October 2025, which will allow foreign-obtained driver's licenses to be converted into Japanese licenses.
Against this backdrop, the company has launched a new website to provide unified support for foreign drivers to corporate clients.

The website features four types of content. Among them, the recruitment service (driver hiring support) selects individuals with Japanese language proficiency of N3 or higher from among the approximately 4000 foreign residents in Japan who obtain licenses through the company, and supports the hiring of drivers in the transportation, logistics, and passenger industries.
In addition, as part of its overseas human resource development business, the company's joint venture, "PT DAISAN MINORI INDONESIA (DMI)," has opened a driving school in Indonesia. It will be the first Japanese-language driving course in Indonesia and will incorporate Japanese traffic rules and safety education to train drivers who can immediately contribute to the workforce.
Zipplus aims to support more than 2500 foreign drivers over the next five years.
