NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced on October 28th that it has significantly expanded the tracking capabilities for domestic rail transport in the United States through its digital forwarding service, "e-NX Visibility." This expansion allows users to directly and in real-time, in detail, monitor the entire rail transport process, from loading at the departure station to unloading at the arrival station, rather than relying solely on limited information such as the current location of the cargo.

Until now, in rail transport within the United States, the status of cargo after unloading at ports relied on trace data provided by shipping companies, making it difficult to obtain detailed transport history and location information from the departure station to the arrival station in real time.
Furthermore, there was a challenge in that timely information was not available when trains were delayed, making it difficult to respond quickly.
In January 2025, the NX Group introduced a system that displays real-time location information for rail transport within the United States. Furthermore, starting in October, they expanded the functionality of "e-NX Visibility" to allow customers to directly check more detailed event history, such as train departure and arrival times and cargo loading and unloading times, on the screen for rail transport within the United States.
With enhanced functionality, the system allows users to search for transportation status using container numbers and B/L (Bill of Lading) numbers as keys, displaying the entire transportation history in chronological order, from loading at the departure station to unloading at the arrival station. The data covers everything from the train's arrival to the completion time of loading at the departure station, arrival and departure times at intermediate stations, arrival time at the unloading station, and completion time of unloading.
This allows customers to track the status of their cargo shipments in a timely and accurate manner on the "e-NX Visibility" screen.
