NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced on October 31 that, as part of a deal by NX Global Innovation Investment Limited Partnership, it has invested in CBcloud, which operates the delivery platform "PickGo," and has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement.
<Concluding a Capital and Business Alliance Agreement>

CBcloud was founded in 2013. It aims to build a new social infrastructure to solve challenges in the logistics industry, and develops technology-driven services.
The company's flagship service, "PickGo," is one of Japan's largest delivery platforms, directly connecting shippers with delivery partners (vehicles and drivers), and boasts approximately 365 registered individual light cargo delivery businesses. Its key features include a proper driver evaluation system and 24/7 delivery support.
Through its investment in CBcloud, the NX Group aims to promote the visualization and efficiency of logistics, and support career development through a driver evaluation system. The goal is to increase the number of workers and build a sustainable logistics system.
Specific initiatives include the use of "PickDo" within the NX Group and the development of an electronic storage system for transaction documents. By linking "WAN-RECORD Plus," a digital solution provided by NX OneBishi Archives, with "PickGo," they are working to establish an electronic storage system for reports upon completion of work.
Furthermore, as an optional service for "PickGo," we will provide an electronic storage solution for documents required under Article 5 of the Subcontracting Act not only to the NX Group but to the entire logistics industry.
Furthermore, through the development of a new system based on "PickGo," we will promote the digitalization of transportation businesses within the NX Group and work to improve the efficiency of administrative operations by linking with existing systems both inside and outside the group.
Through these efforts, the NX Group aims to improve its operations in order to comply with the obligation to make efforts under the new Trucking Act.
