On October 31, the Japan Logistics Association announced a revision of its two existing award systems, the "Logistics Environment Award" and the "Modal Shift Excellent Business Award," and the creation of a new award, the "Japan Logistics Award." Applications for the first award will begin on December 15.
Building upon the criteria of "reducing environmental impact" and "modal shift" that were the focus of the previous two awards, this new award recognizes the achievements of organizations, companies, or individuals who have made efforts to achieve sustainable logistics for the future, broadly encompassing carbon neutrality and productivity improvements.

The aim is to raise awareness and encourage efforts among stakeholders, and to widely inform society as a whole about its significance and importance. Applications are open to any business that has contributed to the initiative, not just logistics companies and shippers, and applications can be submitted individually or in groups.
For this first year of the program, we will be holding a total of five online information sessions, all by reservation only, starting November 17th.
The application period is until March 13, 2026. For details, please refer to the "Japan Logistics Award" application guidelines on the Japan Federation website.
