On November 4, Hino Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, along with Daimler Trucks and Toyota Motor Corporation, reached an agreement and finalized the management structure for the ARCHION Group, which is scheduled to be established on April 1, 2026.
The new company's CEO will be Karl Deppen, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso and a board member of Daimler Trucks. Hetar Larighi, Vice President and CFO of Mitsubishi Fuso, will serve as CFO, and Satoshi Ogiso, President and CEO of Hino Motors, will serve as CTO. In addition, Kiyotaka Ise, former president of Aisin, and Christian Herrmann, Vice President of Daimler Trucks, will serve as non-executive directors.
ARCHION's board of directors consists of nine members in total, including the five directors mentioned above, plus four independent outside directors. The company states that this selection of members was made to build a strong and transparent governance structure, maximize the synergies of the four companies' collaboration, and ensure the group's sustainable growth and continuous improvement of corporate value.
Furthermore, Satyakham Alya, CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, will become the president and CEO of Hino Motors, while Franziska Cusmano, head of Daimler Trucks, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, and Custom Tailor Trucks, will become the president and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso.
