A total of 45 people participated in this 15th annual activity. In addition to clearing undergrowth and pruning branches, a "revealing ceremony" was held to unveil the new sign bearing the new company name, "SBS Nexard." The company stated that it will continue the tradition of this activity, which is based on the themes of "forest creation" and "human resource development," and will strive to contribute to society under its new name.
Since 2011, the company has been leasing 1.76 hectares of land in Mitake, Ome City, Tokyo, and cultivating a forest to absorb carbon dioxide and exhaust gases emitted by its logistics operations. Through this "forest creation" project, the company aims to foster "human resource development" by promoting communication that transcends organizational boundaries.
