Employees of the group company and their families (34 people in total) participated in the activity. With the cooperation of the Nichinan Town Hall, the Nichinan Town Forestry Cooperative, and Tottori Prefecture, they planted 100 ash trees, 100 Japanese maple trees, and 100 sawtooth oak saplings, and installed protective covers to deter wild animals from the planted saplings.
On the second day, they participated in a soba noodle making experience and visited the remains of a traditional iron-making site, deepening their interaction with local people while connecting with nature.
As part of its environmental and social contribution activities, the NX Group has established "NX Group Forests" in Iide Town, Yamagata Prefecture and Nichinan Town, Tottori Prefecture, where it conducts activities such as tree planting and undergrowth clearing twice a year.
