On November 6th, JFE Shoji Electronics and trevo launched a collaborative service combining the logistics tracking service "Jiot" and the vehicle fleet management platform "traevo Platform".

By installing a dedicated "Jiot" GPS tracker on vehicles equipped with non-communicated digital tachographs or analog tachographs, the acquired location and temperature data is automatically linked to the "traevo Platform." This allows for integrated management of the operating status of all vehicles, regardless of the existing in-vehicle equipment environment, and enables real-time monitoring of operational records such as waiting and loading/unloading times. Furthermore, managing temperature information inside the truck during transport contributes to improving transportation quality.

The GPS tracker is small, measuring 4.9cm x 4.9cm and weighing 39g, and requires no installation work. It prioritizes ease of use in the field, with features such as USB Type-C charging, and a battery replacement type with a strong magnetic clasp is also available.

Simply carrying and installing a GPS tracker enables automatic notifications upon entering an area and automatic measurement of loading/unloading times, requiring no driver intervention.

This integration will enable the centralized visualization of vehicle operation status, temperature, and location information acquired by "Jiot" on the "traevo Platform," regardless of the type of in-vehicle equipment, such as connected, non-connected, or analog tachographs. This will allow for efficient and highly accurate logistics information management across the entire supply chain, involving multiple businesses such as shippers, prime contractors, and cooperating transportation companies.
