On November 6, Toyo Wharf announced the completion of a standard warehouse equipped with an overhead crane, which it had been constructing on the premises of its Hitachinaka Works in Tokai Village, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The new warehouse is a single-story building with an area of 4980 square meters. It is equipped with multiple overhead cranes and designed to handle heavy loads.
Ceiling fans were installed on the ceiling, creating a structure that takes into consideration quality control and the working environment.
Ibaraki Port (Hitachinaka Port area), where the Hitachinaka Plant is located, has recently attracted attention as an international distribution hub not only within Ibaraki Prefecture but also in the northern Kanto and southern Tohoku regions.
Toyo Wharf has been operating in this area since 1999. With the completion of the new warehouse, they aim to further improve logistics efficiency and increase added value throughout the entire supply chain.
