According to the second-quarter financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, announced by Suzuyo Shinwart on November 10, sales in the logistics business were 1.771 billion yen (up 4.4% year-on-year), and operating profit was 335 million yen (up 3.3%).
Sales increased due to increased handling volume in warehousing, port operations, and land transportation businesses, as well as the acquisition of spot cargo.
Operating profit was affected by factors such as the postponement of handling some cargo in the port operations and the start of depreciation of new equipment. However, the warehousing and land transportation businesses absorbed the increase in personnel costs due to improved working conditions through the commencement of new handling operations and the promotion of operational efficiency.
