The Japan Logistics Systems Association (JILS) will hold an online "Supply Chain Structure Reform Seminar" on January 21, 2026.
Amidst the diversification of demand and the globalization of supply chains, the importance of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is increasing. However, it is said that many companies have not successfully integrated SCM into their business models due to a lack of strategic approaches.
JILS assumes that "there is a strong demand for individuals who can plan, design, and manage increasingly sophisticated supply chains, and who can build strategic supply chains by involving top management across departmental and organizational boundaries."
The seminar will cover a wide range of topics, from the fundamental concepts of SCM to how to implement SCM reforms, and will include practical training sessions incorporating case studies.
