Seino Staff Service has decided to hire six Indian truck drivers following on-site interviews held in Odisha, India on October 14.

This initiative was made possible with the support of NAVIS HR in India, and the average age of the hired drivers is 28.
They already had a heavy vehicle license in India, learned Japanese in 5 months (to N4 level), and all passed the skills test on their first try.
India is a suitable environment for training professional drivers who will work in Japan, as it has a driving style similar to Japan (right-hand drive, left-hand traffic), a low alcohol consumption rate (about 80% of men are abstainers), and a high level of discipline.

NAVIS HR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Odisha state in eastern India, and is promoting driver training and overseas employment support based on a public-private partnership model.
The partner training facility is a government-certified driver training center jointly established by the state government and Ashok Leyland, a major Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer. It trains more than 12,000 drivers annually and boasts a top-class track record in India for traffic safety and technical education.
At NAVIS HR, we select only the most carefully chosen individuals, and provide direct instruction in Japanese language, culture, and workplace etiquette from native Japanese speakers with Japanese language teaching qualifications. We conduct thorough preparation to ensure that our staff can adapt to the Japanese work environment.
