The QR code check-in function allows truck drivers arriving at a logistics hub to complete the check-in process on their smartphones by scanning a QR code installed at the check-in counter. This reduces waiting times at warehouse and logistics hub check-in counters and eliminates the need for tablet terminals or other equipment, thus reducing the capital investment burden on locations implementing the "Truck Log" system.

Since scanning a QR code allows customers to leave even before completing information entry, this is expected to alleviate congestion at reception counters during peak reservation times.

The "Truck Log" system is being adopted nationwide to alleviate congestion at loading docks, reduce waiting and loading/unloading times for truck drivers, and improve operational efficiency at logistics centers. The "Truck Log" system allows drivers to register using tablet devices or PCs, significantly streamlining the driver registration process, which previously relied heavily on manual, paper-based entry.

On the other hand, when there are few terminals installed at the reception area, there are concerns that drivers will have to wait in line to use the tablets. There have also been requests to reduce the costs of introducing and maintaining reception terminals. Therefore, we have decided to start offering a QR code reception function as a feature that can reduce the burden on both drivers and logistics centers.

Hakobel/Truck Log now includes driver reservation function and supports shuttle transport.
