NabAssist announced that it has updated its "Navisia Crew Clock" cloud service for transportation companies to comply with the revised standards notification on October 30th.
<"Navisia Crew Watch" updated>

This system addresses the numerous customer requests for a flexible working hours system (on a monthly basis). This will enable more accurate and efficient management of the complex work shifts and working hours specific to transportation businesses.
The main function is to automatically calculate working hours, overtime hours, and holiday work hours under a monthly variable working hours system, based on attendance data and information obtained from digital tachographs. By registering multiple work patterns, it is possible to individually set prescribed working hours for each branch office and driver. The number of working days and prescribed working hours for each day can be intuitively managed using a calendar function screen. Various reports (working hours details, working hours summary, etc.) can also be output.
Furthermore, the range of compatible digital tachograph models has been expanded. In addition to Fujitsu's "ITP-Webservice" digital tachograph, the number of compatible digital tachograph models has been increased. This allows users to maximize the functionality of the Navisia driver clock while utilizing their existing digital tachographs.
Navisia Driver Clock is a cloud-based working hours management system that helps solve many of the challenges faced by transportation companies, such as chronic driver shortages, stricter working hours management due to work style reform-related laws, and the revised standards notification effective from April 2024.
By monitoring drivers' work status in real time, the system helps curb long working hours, ensures compliance with laws and regulations, and, above all, guarantees the health and safety of crew members. It allows for centralized management of working hours and operational records, significantly streamlining operational management tasks. This update expands support for variable working hours (monthly) and digital tachograph integration, aiming to help solve the challenges faced by a wider range of transportation businesses.
Looking ahead, Navisia plans to enhance the functionality of its driver clock to contribute to solving the challenges faced by transportation companies. Specifically, to strengthen its ability to accommodate more flexible work schedules, it plans to implement support for a "variable working hours system (annual basis)" around the winter of 2025. This will enable transportation companies with large differences between peak and off-peak seasons to optimize staffing throughout the year, contributing to more efficient working hour management and cost reduction.
