According to the second-quarter financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, announced by Konoike Transport on November 14, net sales were 179.322 billion yen (up 5.7% year-on-year), operating profit was 12.588 billion yen (up 4.7%), ordinary profit was 12.556 billion yen (up 3.6%), and net profit attributable to parent company shareholders was 8.127 billion yen (down 16.4%).

Looking at the results by segment, the integrated solutions business saw sales of 116.583 billion yen (up 6.9%), despite the impact of some production line suspensions at customer sites, thanks to the effects of consolidating an Indian steel subsidiary, the resumption of international passenger flights, the operation and increased volume of new facilities in the lifestyle industry (food), and increased volume of air conditioning system renovation projects in the lifestyle industry (lifestyle). Operating profit was 12.592 billion yen (up 8.5%), due to the effects of the new consolidation and increased volume, as well as continued efforts to receive appropriate unit prices.

In the domestic logistics business, sales reached 281 billion yen (up 2.4%) due to increased handling volume in the lifestyle industry (temperature-controlled), the receipt of appropriate unit prices in the lifestyle industry (logistics), and increased handling volume of housing products, etc. As a result of efforts to improve profitability, operating profit was 1.894 billion yen (up 6.8%).

In the international logistics business, despite factors such as a decrease in cargo handling volume to the United States, sales reached 34.611 billion yen (up 4.2%) due to the effects of consolidating the Canadian subsidiary, securing large orders, and increasing handling volume overseas. Operating profit was 2.106 billion yen (down 11.2%), as the decrease in profit due to the decline in cargo handling volume to the United States could not be offset by other factors.

For the full year, the company projects net sales of 3550 billion yen (up 2.9%), operating profit of 225 billion yen (up 5.2%), ordinary profit of 225 billion yen (up 5.7%), and net profit attributable to parent company shareholders of 145 billion yen (up 3.2%).

Sankyu's financial results: Sales up 5.5% and operating profit up 2.6% for April-June.
