On August 17, Recruit Group announced the results of its July survey of average hourly wages for part-time and temporary workers, compiled by its research institute, the Jobs Research Center (JBRC).

Of these, drivers, delivery drivers, and couriers earned 1263 yen (up 2.9%), medium and large truck drivers earned 1359 yen (up 1.1%), logistics workers earned 1286 yen (up 4.0%), and on-site workers and forklift operators earned 1272 yen (up 4.2%).

The survey extracted job postings for part-time and temporary positions from the recruitment management systems "AirWork Recruitment Management" and "JobOp Recruitment Management" operated by the Recruit Group, and compiled the average hourly wage at the time of posting. Because the scope of data collection changed from April 2025, there will be differences compared to the figures up to March.
