On November 20, JR Freight announced that it had formulated a "DE&I Promotion Roadmap" in order to systematically advance "the promotion of DE&I that balances respect for human rights and corporate growth," which is outlined in the "JR Freight Group Medium-Term Management Plan 2026."

The fiscal year up to 2029 is divided into three periods, with targets and KPIs set for each period. Various measures are categorized into two areas: "Cultivating a change in mindset and culture" and "Improving the ease of working for diverse personnel," and compiled into a roadmap.
