On November 20, Fujitsu announced that it has systematized "Fujitsu Food Distribution Sync Service," a solution that covers functions for building business systems such as sales management, order management, inventory management, and logistics management for the food distribution industry, and will begin offering some of its functions from December.
In the food distribution industry, each company has its own large-scale core system that forms the foundation of its operations, resulting in a high burden of implementation and operation, as well as a shortage of IT personnel.
This solution addresses the need for streamlining business processes and standardizing systems in non-competitive areas, by consolidating the knowledge and expertise that Fujitsu has cultivated over many years in core systems, and systematizing functions that can be shared and standardized.

A key feature is the microservices architecture, which transforms the applications of systems previously built individually for each company into a common set of functions for the food distribution industry. This provides over 1500 functions that cover all aspects of food distribution operations, allowing customers to utilize the system quickly and at a low cost.
Going forward, we plan to gradually introduce each function, including advanced features such as AI utilization, and by fiscal year 2026, we will be offering it in various forms such as SaaS and templates according to customer needs.
Furthermore, to optimize the supply chain, from upstream to downstream in the food distribution industry, the company will expand its functionality by collaborating with existing solutions and partner companies, including one-stop data integration and standardization of interfaces and master data. Global availability is also planned to align with customers' overseas expansion.
