By concluding this agreement, Fullcast and AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings will build a mutually cooperative relationship that leverages Fullcast's strength in "rapidly supplying necessary personnel when needed" and AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings' robust nationwide network utilizing its group companies and AZ-COM network, as awareness of measures to be taken in the event of a large-scale disaster increases.
This will provide a powerful solution to the urgent issue of "a shortage of personnel to support the operation, sorting, and delivery of relief supplies at transportation hubs," which is often the biggest bottleneck during disasters. Both companies will work together to contribute to society as an infrastructure function during large-scale disasters.
The agreement outlines four areas of mutual cooperation: conducting training sessions on logistics during large-scale disasters, securing personnel during disasters (short-term and long-term staffing services) by utilizing Fullcast's nationwide network to quickly mobilize necessary personnel, launching a joint research project on the operation of support services, and conducting joint research on leadership development for employees and sharing information on disaster response bases.
AZ-COM Maruwa HD Financial Results: Sales up 11.4% and operating profit up 40.2% for April-December.
