On November 21, Hakobel announced that it will begin integrating its truck reservation/acceptance system, "Truck Log," with AI cameras provided by i-PRO Corporation starting in March 2026. This will allow for the automatic registration of entry and exit times, as well as the start and completion times of cargo handling operations.

"Truck Log" is being increasingly adopted as a solution that digitizes berth reception operations, leading to reduced congestion and shorter waiting and working times. However, the clocking in and out of warehouses and logistics centers, as well as the clocking in for loading and unloading operations, were mainly done manually using tablet devices and smartphone apps. There had been many requests from logistics centers and other locations for improvements to this operational burden and for accurate clocking data that did not rely on human intervention.

i-PRO, Inc. is a global leader in edge computing cameras for security, safety, and medical applications, having spun off from Panasonic. It develops AI cameras that leverage its strong sensing technology.

By integrating with AI cameras, the camera terminal itself analyzes the video footage on-site, enabling highly accurate detection and identification in real time. This allows drivers to automatically record their work time without getting out of the vehicle, making it easier and more accurate to track waiting and loading/unloading times.

Hakobel plans to continue strengthening its collaborations with various companies that have strengths in device development, and further improve the usability of its "Truck Log" app.
