On November 21, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) announced that it has decided to transfer the logistics business currently operated in Thailand by its Thai subsidiary KTL to KLL TH, the Thai subsidiary of KLL, a consolidated subsidiary of K Line Logistics (KLL).
Currently, KTL operates two businesses: overall management of car carrier operations in Southeast Asia and comprehensive shipping agency services in Thailand, as well as logistics services in Thailand, primarily focusing on land transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
KLL TH operates a logistics business centered on air and sea freight forwarding, and will take over all of KTL's domestic logistics operations from April 2026.
The purpose of transferring the domestic Thai logistics business to KLL TH, which has strengths in international logistics, is to provide customers with high-quality and more diverse logistics services and to strengthen the capabilities of contract logistics.
