Seino Logistics has recently launched a reefer freight consolidation service to Busan, South Korea.
We have announced the launch of two services, "Cool Mixed Loading Service" and "Super Cool Mixed Loading Service," which are ideal for small-lot overseas shipping of temperature-controlled food products, and are the first in the industry to offer regular services to South Korea.
The "Cool Mixed Service" is +7℃, and the "Super Cool Mixed Service" is -20℃.
Each service operates on a bi-weekly schedule, with receiving CFS (Container Freight Station) locations in Tokyo, Kawasaki, Kobe, and Hakata. The "Chilled Consolidated Service" receiving cargo in the Kanto region will be received at the Tokyo CFS, which has higher demand, rather than Kawasaki. At Busan Port, refrigerated and frozen warehouses of the Korean agent MOLAX will be used.
This will be the fourth location in Asia, following Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, and the fifth worldwide, following Los Angeles.
