The Safety Driving Award 2025 Executive Committee (composed of the All Japan Traffic Safety Association, Japan Accident Prevention Promotion Organization, Japan Car Solutions, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, and GO Drive), which operates the Safety Driving Award 2025, an award that highlights outstanding efforts to reduce traffic accidents among all companies that own company vehicles, made the announcement.

The companies that received awards in the "Commercial Vehicle Category" were: Grand Prize (Yamaha Motor), Excellence Award (Maruo Kogyo), Excellence Award (Hitachi Global Life Solutions), and Special Award (Yamada Infra Technos).

The award-winning companies in the "Transportation Business Division" were: Grand Prize (Seibu Transport), Excellence Award (Meihan Kyuhai), Excellence Award (Nihon Kotsu), and Special Award (Atlanseed).

The reason for selecting Yamaha Motor, the recipient of the "Grand Prize," is that its uniquely designed "Traffic Safety Championship" is cleverly designed to involve employees in traffic safety activities, in addition to creating an exciting atmosphere through inter-departmental competition. It is also a regular top performer in the prefecture's Safety Driver Contest, and can truly be called a model for the local community.

Similarly, in the case of Seibu Transport, while their initiatives are simple and can be implemented by other companies, what stands out is the thoroughness of their implementation. Their efforts to prevent accidents and their commitment to compliance are appreciated by their clients, making them a good example of how safety-oriented activities can lead to increased corporate value.

Japan Post: Additional suspensions for light four-wheeled vehicles starting on the 29th; 110 post offices affected.
