On November 25, Suzuyo and Gekkeikan announced that they will participate in the commercial operation of trunk line transportation using autonomous trucks, which T2 has commercialized for the first time in Japan, starting from the 28th.
Regular service using Level 2 autonomous trucks has begun on a route of approximately 420 km, from the Gekkeikan Logistics Center in Kyoto City to the Suzuyo Atsugi Logistics Center in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
The automated driving section runs from Kumiyama JCT (Kyoto Prefecture) to Atsugi IC (Kanagawa Prefecture). The goal is to fully implement the system for transporting sake, with Level 4 autonomous driving in mind.

T2 will be the first in Japan to begin commercial trunk line transportation using Level 2 autonomous trucks in July 2025, and seven companies have since joined in succession.
Based on the results obtained from this commercial operation, Suzuyo and Gekkeikan will also consider participating in T2's trunk line transportation service using Level 4 autonomous trucks, which is scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2027.
