On November 25th, OrLinK began handling the "HSRF-S1000-1000," an AI-powered autonomous forklift robot capable of transporting flat-placed closed pallets and low-profile cage carts.
Orlink, headquartered in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, provides integrated logistics efficiency solutions in collaboration with local vendors in Kyushu, with control software as its core business.
One example is the automated guided vehicle (AGV), the HSRF-S1000-1000, which aims to solve problems in areas of warehouses where automation has traditionally been difficult due to reasons such as "inability to correctly recognize the insertion position of pallets," "inability to get under carts," and "the machine being too large to pass through."
It has various features, such as AI recognition of flat-lying closed pallets that allow for secure insertion of forklift tines, and safe transport with reduced risk of tipping or collision of low-profile cage carts.
The main unit width is 1200mm, and the minimum operating aisle width is 1300mm.
In addition to standalone robot operation, the system enables more advanced transport control by integrating with Link-WES/WCS provided by Orlink.
Furthermore, by linking data with higher-level systems and equipment such as WMS, ERP, automated warehouses, and sorting machines, and managing them in an integrated manner, it becomes possible to optimize warehouse/factory transportation.
It can be tested with just one unit without any layout changes, and some functions can also be customized through development.
