Asahi Logistics opened its "Shinbashi Satellite" in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on November 12th.
<Shinbashi Satellite Exterior>

The Shinbashi Satellite is located at the intersection of Chiyoda, Chuo, and Minato wards, areas in Tokyo with a high concentration of restaurants.
Until now, Asahi Logistics did not own any logistics bases in Tokyo, and had been handling deliveries to Tokyo from logistics bases in Saitama, Kanagawa, and Chiba prefectures, or using delivery methods tailored to the requirements of the delivery destination to meet a wide range of needs.
Furthermore, while their main vehicle, the 4-ton truck, is currently used for route deliveries to restaurants in Tokyo, it has been plagued by urban-specific problems such as narrow roads in busy areas and the need to secure parking spaces during deliveries.
The Shinbashi satellite office was established with the aim of addressing these challenges unique to urban logistics.
<Delivery of goods from the Matsudo office>

Deliveries from the Shinbashi satellite office are primarily handled by BP Transport, a group company. This leverages group capabilities to improve the efficiency of deliveries within Tokyo.
Furthermore, the company plans to gradually expand its satellite bases targeting the Ueno, Asakusa, and Akihabara areas, as well as the Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ikebukuro areas, in order to build a system that can provide more detailed support.
