OpenLogi announced on November 27th that it has begun offering a "case receiving and shipping function" that supports the receiving and shipping of goods in case units.

20251127openlogi - OpenLogi officially launches "case-unit" inbound and outbound services for B2B and retail customers.

Through the development of these features, we can now meet needs such as, "We conduct both B2C and B2B e-commerce, so we want to be able to receive and ship not only individual items but also in case units," and "We want to deliver products to physical stores in case units."

OpenLogi has been providing e-commerce businesses with a logistics fulfillment service that allows them to manage inbound/outbound shipments and inventory from piece-by-piece (one item) on a pay-as-you-go basis, with zero fixed costs and a pay-as-you-go pricing model.

On the other hand, in the conventional service system based on individual pieces (one item), for example, when receiving a case (containing 100 pieces), it was necessary to inspect and register all 100 items in the system, which placed a heavy burden on the user, and the usage fees (receiving and shipping fees) were also high.

Therefore, we developed a new "case receiving and shipping function" and built a simple warehouse operation on a case-by-case basis, enabling us to offer "case receiving and shipping" as a new service.

Compared to the previous pricing system, which was based on inspecting and shipping/receiving products on a piece-by-piece basis (one item at a time), using the "case shipping/receiving function" makes it possible to reduce the cost of shipping/receiving one case (100 pieces) by approximately 80% to 90%.

In addition, to enable more flexible responses, we made it possible to choose between stocking items individually or in case units for each product, allowing us to handle both B2C and B2B inbound and outbound shipments.

We have signed a new partnership agreement with OpenLogi/STORES.
