On August 27, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation filed a recall notice with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for its heavy-duty truck, the "Super Great."
The affected vehicles are 1607 units manufactured between September 12, 2022 and April 25, 2024, and 948 units shipped as replacement or repair parts, the vehicles in which they were installed cannot be identified.
Due to insufficient design considerations in the electrical circuit of the LED rear combination lamps, the overvoltage protection circuit activates, causing each light to malfunction and resulting in a violation of safety standards.
